This book has been prepared as a devotional and interpretive Bible companion shaped by the theology, providential framework, and spiritual insights associated with the Divine Principle tradition.
This volume respectfully recognizes the historic importance of the books published under the title Divine Principle by the Unification Church, and acknowledges their influence on the development of the themes, theological outlook, and interpretive approach reflected in this work. Those published books introduced a distinctive understanding of God’s purpose of creation, the human fall, restoration history, the mission of the Messiah, and the hope for the fulfillment of God’s ideal.
At the same time, this book is an independent work. It is not published by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially affiliated with the Unification Church, nor is it affiliated with any of the organizations originally established by Rev. Sun Myung Moon.
This book has been prepared for readers who wish to study the Bible in conversation with Divine Principle themes while engaging the biblical text directly, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Its purpose is to encourage deeper reflection on God’s heart, God’s providence in history, and God’s original ideal for humanity and creation.
Where this volume reflects ideas associated with the Divine Principle tradition, it does so as an independent interpretive project. Responsibility for the content, structure, tone, and commentary of this book belongs solely to its present author and publisher.
May this work help readers approach Scripture with reverence, seriousness, and renewed desire to understand the purpose of God through the long history of creation, fall, and restoration.
